IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT OUR UPCOMING MEETINGS
The location and day for our monthly meeting is changing starting for the April meeting. The meeting is on WEDNESDAY APRIL 15TH. The new location is at SILVER BIRCHES PUBLIC SCHOOL located at
65 Marshall Ave E, North Bay, ON
P1A 3L4. When you enter the front doors make a right turn, to the end of the hallway and turn right and straight ahead to the library. We have returned to a Wednesday meeting date to try and accommodate as many people as possible. The new location is much more central and has easier access by city transit. We hope to see everyone out there in April. Below is a map of the new location, simply click on the button and it will take you to an enlarged map. There is also a map and schedule for City Transit, simply click on the Transit Button and you will get the information.

As many of you know there was a lunar eclipse on April 4th One of our members(Bob Chapman) braved the early morning cold and was able to capture some great images. Up coming events - Volunteers and stargazers welcome
The 18th Annual Powassan Maple Syrup Festival (PMSF) is set to go on Saturday April 25, 2015.
The North Bay Astronomy Club will be set up next to Memorial Park Gazebo, come join in the fun!!
International Day of Astronomy
As well as the Powassan Maple Syrup Festival, April 25th is also the International Day Of astronomy. After the Festival, our club will be setting up at the waterfront in North Bay at about 8 to 8:30 PM. There will be some solar viewing and then lots of tyelescopes available for the public to do some terrific viewing. Members of the club will be available and eager to answer your questions. Come on out and enjoy a great night of viewing. ( This activity is weather and sky condition controlled) Contact us through the website for any further information

Our new meeting venue is at SILVER BIRCHES PUBLIC SCHOOL located at 65 Marshall Avenue East North Bay Ontario. Our meetings are held on the Third Wed of each month from September to June and start at 7 PM and run until about 9:30. Our next scheduled meeting is April 15th at 7 PM. This meeting is a great chance to mingle, ask questions or get advice from any of our members. Everyone is welcome to attend. Below is a brief agenda of our next meeting
